Description
This bundle pairs a Squier Affinity Series Telecaster with an MXR M169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay, giving new players a solid guitar and a genuinely great pedal to build a pedalboard around from day one.
The Telecaster itself is built to Squier’s Affinity spec: an alder body finished in polyurethane, a maple neck with a comfortable “C” profile, and a rosewood-style fingerboard carrying 21 medium jumbo frets across a 9.5″ radius. The 25.5″ scale and 1.6″ nut width keep things feeling like a proper Tele in hand. Under the three-ply pickguard sit a Tele-style single-coil bridge pickup and a vintage-voiced single-coil neck pickup, wired through a 3-way blade switch (bridge / bridge+neck / neck) with master volume and tone. A 6-saddle top-load bridge and chrome hardware round out the electronics and hardware, with a synthetic bone nut and top hat switch tip adding to the classic look.
- Alder body, maple neck, rosewood-style board with dot inlays
- 21 medium jumbo frets, 9.5″ radius, 25.5″ scale
- S/S pickup configuration with 3-way blade switching
- 6-saddle top-load bridge, chrome hardware
The included MXR Carbon Copy is a fully analog delay built on bucket-brigade technology, so every repeat has that warm, slightly degraded character players chase instead of a sterile digital echo. Up to 600ms of delay time covers everything from tight slapback to long, ambient washes, with three front-panel knobs for Delay, Mix, and Regen, plus two internal trim pots for adjusting modulation width and rate. It runs on a Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter or a single 9-volt battery (neither included).
Together, this pairing gives a new or upgrading guitarist a genuinely playable Telecaster and a delay pedal with real tonal depth, no compromises needed on either end.
