Description
The Fender PM-2 Standard Parlor brings the charm of a small-bodied guitar together with the craftsmanship of the U.S.-designed Paramount series. Built entirely from solid woods, it’s voiced to deliver focused, articulate tone that suits fingerstyle playing and intimate performances alike, while still holding its own on stage thanks to the onboard electronics.
Visually, the PM-2 leans into its heritage with design cues borrowed from classic ’60s instruments: checkerboard purfling around the body and soundhole, a distinctive pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl “Concert Tone” inlays tracing the ovangkol fingerboard. It’s a look that feels art deco and vintage without losing any modern playability or reliability.
At the heart of its amplified sound is a Fender- and Fishman-designed PM preamp system, engineered specifically for the parlor body shape. This means the electronics aren’t a generic add-on—they’re tuned to complement the guitar’s natural voice, giving you real tonal control whether you’re recording direct or running through a PA.
