Description
The Telecaster formula doesn’t need reinventing, but Fender’s American Professional series proves it can still be sharpened. This model keeps the alder body and classic bolt-on maple neck the design was built on, while updating the details that matter most to working players.
- Two Tim Shaw-designed V-Mod single-coil pickups, each voiced individually by position for a blend of vintage warmth and articulate top-end
- Modern “Deep C” neck profile with fuller shoulders for a natural grip whether you’re chording or soloing
- Bone nut for organic resonance, paired with 22 narrow-tall frets that make bending and fretting up the neck more precise
- Redesigned three-saddle bridge with compensated brass barrels, tucked under a low-profile modern ashtray cover that won’t get in the way of palm-muting
- Treble-bleed circuit that keeps your tone from going dark as you roll back the volume knob
Finished in gloss polyurethane over the body with a satin urethane neck back and gloss headstock face, this Telecaster has a 25.5″ scale, 9.5″ fingerboard radius, and a 3-position blade switch for full control across the bridge, neck, and combined pickup settings. Nickel/chrome hardware, a 3-ply mint green pickguard, and a 4-bolt neck plate round out the build, strung from the factory with Fender USA 250L strings (.009-.042).
The Candy Apple Red finish gives this Telecaster a striking, deep presence without straying from tradition, and it ships in a protective Elite Molded hardshell case ready for the stage or studio.
