Description
The Stratocaster has been the working musician’s blueprint since 1954, and this American Professional HSS ShawBucker version keeps that DNA fully intact while pushing the tone and playability forward. Rather than a reinterpretation, it’s the genuine article updated with modern refinements that respond to how players actually use these instruments today.
At the bridge sits the ShawBucker 1 humbucker, delivering thick, high-output tone without losing Strat character. The neck and middle positions carry Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coils, each voiced individually using a mix of alnico magnet types to preserve that classic clarity and bite. A treble-bleed circuit on the master volume keeps your top end intact even as you roll back the gain, so the tone stays articulate at any volume setting.
The neck wears Fender’s Modern “Deep C” profile, a shape that sits between a Modern C and a U, giving your hand more to grip without feeling bulky. Paired with narrow-tall frets, string bends land accurately and chords ring true all the way up the 9.5″ radius fingerboard, available in maple or rosewood.
