Description
The G6609TFM Players Edition Broadkaster Center Block Double-Cut carries the Broadkaster name into modern territory, pairing a chambered spruce center block with a laminated flame maple body for a lighter feel and a more focused, resonant voice than a traditional hollow body. Bourbon Stain finish shows off the tiger flame figuring across the arched top, back, and matching headstock, all trimmed in aged white binding for that vintage Gretsch look.
Powering the tone are two U.S.-made Full’Tron pickups, engineered to push more midrange and low-end growl than earlier Gretsch pickup designs while retaining the brightness and jangle the brand is known for. That extra grit makes this guitar just as comfortable driving overdriven rock tones at stage volume as it is delivering clean, chiming arpeggios. A 3-position toggle and separate volume controls for each pickup, plus master volume and tone, give you quick access to a wide tonal palette.
The maple neck carries a Standard “U” profile with an ebony fingerboard, 12″ radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets for comfortable playability across the 24.6″ scale length. A Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Gotoh locking tuners help keep tuning stable, while the string-thru Bigsby and anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge deliver smooth, expressive vibrato without sacrificing sustain.
