Description
Don’t let the reversed headstock, fixed bridge, and humbucker fool you into thinking this is a one-trick metal machine. The Godin Session R-HT PRO is built to move fluidly between styles, whether you’re chasing a warm overdriven roar or a glassy, articulate clean tone.
- Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1b humbucker in the bridge position for thick, saturated lead and rhythm tones
- Two Lace Sensor Hot Gold pickups in the middle and neck positions, delivering clarity and sparkle for cleaner passages
- 5-way switch paired with volume and tone controls to unlock a wide spread of tonal combinations from a single guitar
All three pickups are made in the USA, and together they give this guitar the flexibility to handle studio sessions, stage work, or whatever style you throw at it that day.
Every Session R-HT PRO is built entirely in Canada around a basswood body and a hard maple neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Godin’s acoustically tuned matte finish works alongside a fixed bridge with through-body stringing to let the strings ring out with more freedom, adding to the guitar’s sustain and natural resonance. A vintage-style Godin logo on the headstock rounds out the look.
It’s a guitar that can absolutely rock — but it’s far from limited to just that.
