The G5220 Electromatic Jet BT Single-Cut takes the compact, punchy Jet body style and pairs it with Broad’Tron pickups for a tone that’s bigger and more aggressive than a standard Jet, without losing the clarity that makes this shape a favorite for cutting through a mix.
Underneath the finish is a chambered mahogany body topped with arched laminated maple, a combination that opens up the midrange while keeping low end tight and highs shimmering rather than harsh. White binding with black/white purfling traces the body and neck, giving it a clean, vintage-inspired look, while the V-Stoptail keeps things simple and resonant.
A pair of Black Top Broad’Tron pickups sit at the heart of the electronics, built to push into thick, saturated overdrive while still holding onto note definition and balance for players who want pristine cleans too. The mahogany neck wears a Thin “U” profile with a 12″ radius black walnut fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid Big Block inlays for fast, comfortable playability across the 24.6″ scale.
Control-wise, you get independent volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master tone knob, all routed through a 3-position toggle switch – giving you quick access to bridge, neck, or combined pickup voicings without fumbling.
