That smaller single-cutaway body isn’t just about comfort—it tames feedback and sharpens tonal focus, making this guitar equally happy at bedroom volume or roaring through a cranked amp.
Inside, a chambered spruce center block does the heavy lifting, opening up the resonance of the laminated maple body while keeping the weight manageable on long gigs. Two U.S.-made Full’Tron pickups anchor the electronics, delivering that unmistakable Gretsch chime and shimmer alongside a firmer midrange punch built for overdrive and distortion—something earlier Gretsch pickups couldn’t quite muster.
The maple neck wears a Standard “U” profile with aged white binding, topped by an ebony fingerboard with a 12″ radius and aged pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays across 22 medium jumbo frets. A 24.6″ scale length and 1.6875″ nut width keep the playing feel familiar to longtime Gretsch players.
Dressed in Azure Metallic with a matching headstock, tortoise pickguard, and gold hardware throughout, this guitar pairs vintage glamour with genuinely modern playability. The string-thru Bigsby lets you dive into shimmering vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability.
