Each string is built with an 80/20 bronze wrap wound over a silk layer that sits between the wrap and the steel core. That extra layer of silk softens the string’s feel under your fingers and tames the metallic zing you’d normally get from a standard bronze set, while also cutting down on unwanted finger noise as you move between chords and positions.
