Schecter built the C-7 Multiscale SLS Elite for left-handed players who need the extended range of a 7-string without sacrificing playability. The multiscale design runs from a 25.5″ scale up to 27″ across the seven strings, evening out tension so the low string stays tight and articulate while the higher strings retain their snap and clarity. It’s a layout that rewards extended-range riffing and rapid position shifts alike.
The neck-thru construction pairs a Maple/Walnut/Padauk multi-ply neck—reinforced with carbon fiber rods for extra stability—with an Ultra Thin “C” profile that’s fast under the hand. A 20″ radius ebony fretboard loaded with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets keeps bends smooth and low action buzz-free, while abalone offset/reverse dot inlays mark your position at a glance. Schecter locking tuners and a graphite nut round out a neck built to stay in tune through aggressive playing.
Up top, a swamp ash body with a flamed maple cap gives the C-7 a resonant foundation with visual depth, all wrapped in black 1-ply binding and finished in Gloss Natural. A Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body construction adds sustain and stability, and black hardware keeps the look cohesive. Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers deliver the pickup technology this guitar deserves—quiet, articulate, and versatile enough to move between high-gain riffing and cleaner textures without losing definition.
