Its mahogany body with a quilted maple top wears a deep Black Cherry finish, while creme multi-ply binding and vector inlays dress up the 24-fret rosewood board. That fretboard’s natural oils give the tone a rounder, richer fundamental than maple would, and the bolt-on maple neck keeps things stable and bright, pushing energy right back into the mahogany body for a satisfying blend of warmth and snap.
Powering the guitar are Schecter’s own Diamond Plus pickups, overwound with ceramic magnets for an aggressive push into your amp. They’re voiced for crunchy rhythm work, blistering leads, and drop tunings, and a push-pull tone knob unlocks a cleaner single-coil voice when you want it. The Floyd Rose Special tremolo, built in Korea to authentic Floyd Rose specs with zinc alloy saddles and sustain block, lets you dive and flutter without losing tune, backed by Schecter’s own sealed, lubricated tuners running a 15:1 gear ratio for precise, low-maintenance tuning.
