Description
The 5th Avenue Uptown T-Armond is Godin’s twangiest take on this hollow body classic. At its heart sit a set of TV Jones T-Armond pickups, prized by players for cutting through a band mix while delivering that unmistakable snap and sparkle that made this pickup design famous. Flip the three-way switch and you’ve got quick access to a full spread of tonal options, from bright and biting to warmer, rounder textures.
Body and top are built from Canadian Wild Cherry, paired with a Silver Leaf Maple neck for a balanced, resonant voice. The Richlite fingerboard carries a 16″ radius across 21 frets, offering smooth playability whether you’re chording through jazz standards or bending into rockabilly licks. A 24.84″ scale length and 1.72″ nut width, cut with a Graphtech nut, keep the neck feel comfortable and precise. Tuning stability is handled by machine heads set at an 18:1 ratio on the bass side and 26:1 on the treble side.
Finished in Havana Burst, this guitar doesn’t just sound distinctive — it looks the part too, standing out whether you’re on stage or hanging on the wall.
