Description
Fender’s Standard Stratocaster HSS takes the timeless Strat blueprint and adds a humbucking bridge pickup for extra grit and sustain, flanked by two single-coil pickups that deliver the sparkle Strats are famous for. The 5-position blade switch and special wiring scheme let you move fluidly between fat humbucker tones and classic chime, covering everything from blues to rock to modern styles.
The maple neck wears a Modern “C” profile with a 9.5″ fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets across 21 positions, making bends and chords equally comfortable. A tinted neck and ’70s-style headstock logo give it a slightly vintage look, while parchment plastic parts — pickguard, knobs, and switch tips — add warm contrast against the Brown Sunburst finish.
Under the hood, shielded body cavities keep noise in check, and the vintage-style synchronized tremolo with high-mass bridge block delivers smooth pitch bends and stable tuning. It’s strung from the factory with Fender USA Super Bullets (.009-.042).
