Description
Randy Rhoads’ angular silhouette still defines metal guitar, and the Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 carries that legacy forward without the boutique price tag. This Battleship Gray version pairs the aggressive shape with black bevel accents and black hardware for a stealthy, no-nonsense look on stage.
- Poplar body for a lightweight, resonant foundation
- Through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint for stability under heavy tuning changes
- 12″-16″ compound radius bound laurel fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, ideal for fast riffing and comfortable bends up top
- Reverse Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock
Under the hood, a matched set of active Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups pushes out high-output, searing tone tailor-made for saturated distortion while staying tight and articulate. Two volume knobs, a single tone control, and a three-way blade switch give you quick, practical control over your sound without overcomplicating the layout.
A recessed Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo handles dive bombs and pitch tricks while keeping tuning rock-solid and sustain long. Combined with the compound radius neck, the RRX24 is built to move fast and stay in tune through aggressive playing.
The RRX24 also comes in Black with Neon Green Bevels, Black with Yellow Bevels, Gloss Black, and Matte Army Drab, each with its own inlay and hardware treatment, but this Battleship Gray edition keeps things dark and menacing.
