The JS22 Dinky Arch Top proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to get real Jackson attitude. Its arched poplar body wears a glossy Snow White polyester finish that looks as sharp on stage as it does under practice room lights, while the classic Dinky shape keeps things light, balanced, and easy to move around on.
Under your fretting hand sits a 1-piece bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint for extra stability. The rosewood fingerboard uses a compound radius of 12″ to 16″, meaning open chords feel comfortable near the nut while bends and solos up high stay effortless. White binding wraps the fingerboard and headstock, and 24 jumbo frets with pearloid sharkfin inlays give it that unmistakable Jackson look. Nut width comes in at 1.6875″, with a satin neck finish for a fast, non-sticky grip.
Tone comes courtesy of two Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, wired to a 3-way blade switch (bridge / bridge+neck / neck) alongside master volume and tone controls. Whether you’re chugging through rhythm parts or cutting loose with a lead, this HH configuration delivers plenty of output and clarity.
Hardware is all business: a 2-point fulcrum tremolo bridge for pitch dives and vibrato, Jackson sealed die-cast tuners for reliable tuning stability, black hardware throughout, and black dome-style control knobs. It ships strung with NPS strings in .009-.042 gauge, right-hand orientation, no pickguard.
