Description
The Squier Standard Telecaster brings the timeless Tele formula to life with a fast-playing neck carved in a late-’60s-inspired profile. That comfortable “C” shape maple neck, paired with a 9.5″ radius laurel fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, makes chord work and single-note runs feel equally natural whether you’re just starting out or dialing in vintage tones.
Under the hood, a hot single-coil bridge pickup delivers the biting attack Telecasters are known for, perfect for cutting through a mix on twangy leads. Switch to the chrome-covered, Alnico magnet neck pickup for a rounder, warmer character that opens up a whole different side of the guitar’s voice. A simple 3-position blade switch lets you move between bridge, combined, and neck pickup settings, while master volume and tone knobs keep control straightforward.
Vintage-style touches carry through the hardware and details, including a strings-through-body bridge with six saddles, standard die-cast tuners, a synthetic bone nut, and an engraved neck plate. The gold and black Squier logo, black plastic parts, and dot inlays round out the classic look, finished here in an Antique Burst that gives the body a worn-in, road-ready feel.
