Under the hood, this HSS-configured Strat pairs a humbucking bridge pickup with two single-coil Stratocaster pickups in the middle and neck positions, all routed through a five-way switch. That means you get the beefier, warmer output of a humbucker for riffs and heavier tones, plus the glassy, articulate quack Strats are famous for when you flip to the single coils. A basswood body keeps things light on the shoulder, and the polyurethane finish on both body and neck adds durability for daily practice or gigging.
Instead of a vintage tremolo, this model uses a vintage-style hardtail bridge – a nod to early-to-mid ’70s Fender design – which locks in tuning stability and adds a touch of extra sustain, something beginners will appreciate every time they pick the guitar back up.
