Description
This Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose takes the classic Strat blueprint and arms it for aggressive, high-gain playing. An alder body wears a gloss polyester finish in Ghost Silver, while the maple neck carries a modern “C” profile and satin urethane back for fast, comfortable playing. The Pau Ferro fingerboard has a 9.5″ radius, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a Floyd Rose locking nut that keeps tuning rock-steady even under heavy whammy abuse.
At the heart of the sound is an HSS pickup layout: a Blacktop open-coil humbucker with a chrome/black bobbin sits at the bridge for a hot, vintage-flavored humbucking growl, paired with standard single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions. A push/pull switch built into the second tone knob splits the humbucker’s coils, giving you access to cleaner, single-coil-style tones on top of full humbucker punch. Five-way switching covers everything from biting bridge tones to warm neck voicing.
The Floyd Rose Special double-locking two-point tremolo bridge is the standout feature here, delivering the sustain and dive-bomb stability that this style of playing demands. Nickel/chrome hardware, a 3-ply black/white/black pickguard, black plastic control knobs, and a 4-bolt neck plate round out the classic Fender look and feel.
