The Vintera ’60s Mustang brings back the offset charm and quirky character that made this model a cult favorite, without sacrificing the details purists care about. Fender revisited the pickup voicing on this pair of single-coils to recapture that crisp, bell-like sparkle the Mustang was known for back in the day—articulate and a little bit chimey, with plenty of clarity for cutting through a mix.
The neck follows the ’60s C-profile, paired with a 7.25″ radius pau ferro fingerboard and 22 vintage-style frets, so the playing feel stays true to the era rather than a modern reinterpretation of it. Chording and bending both feel distinctly old-school here, in the best way.
