Description
Most Teles give you two pickup voices; the Deluxe Nashville Tele gives you five. Fender added a middle Strat-style single-coil to the classic Telecaster formula and wired it up with a five-way blade switch, so you get everything from twangy bridge snap to warm neck tone to in-between quack usually reserved for Stratocasters. It’s the same idea that’s fueled countless Music Row sessions – one guitar covering a whole set’s worth of tones.
All three pickups are Vintage Noiseless units, so you get the clarity and sparkle of true single-coils without the 60-cycle hum that usually comes with them. The alder body wears a gloss polyester Fiesta Red finish over a maple neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, carved in a Modern
