Description
This Deluxe Stratocaster nods to the 70’s era with its flatter body contour and larger headstock, but everything under the hood has been brought firmly into the present. Fender’s Vintage Noiseless pickups, once reserved for pricier USA models, now anchor the neck and middle positions, delivering authentic single-coil character minus the hum that plagues traditional coils.
The bridge trades a standard single-coil for a Twin Head Vintage humbucker, giving you thicker, rounder midrange for heavier playing. Flip the S-1 switch built into the volume knob and it drops down to its rear coil alone, opening up true single-coil voicing across all five switch positions when you want it.
Hardware gets the same attention as the electronics. A 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles keeps that vintage feel but with tighter, more reliable performance, while an asymmetrical 4-bolt neck plate improves upper-fret access. Locking short-post tuners round things out for a guitar that stays in tune and stable, sidestepping the quirks of older Strat designs.
The alder body wears a glossy Tobacco Sunburst polyester finish, paired with a satin-finished maple neck in a Modern “C” profile and a 12″ radius maple fingerboard with 22 narrow-tall frets. A synthetic bone nut, 25.5″ scale, and mint green 3-ply pickguard complete the classic-meets-modern package.
