Description
Left-handed players know the struggle of hunting down a proper southpaw guitar, and the Player Telecaster LH puts an end to that search. This isn’t a mirrored afterthought—it’s a fully realized Telecaster built from the ground up for lefties, delivering the same bite, twang, and rock-solid reliability that’s made this design a workhorse for generations.
The alder body wears a gloss polyester 3-Color Sunburst finish, paired with a maple neck carved in Fender’s Modern “C” profile. It’s a shape that fits naturally in the hand, whether you’re chording through a country shuffle or bending into a blues lick. The maple fingerboard carries a 9.5″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, giving you room to roam up the neck without the board feeling like a baseball bat.
Under the hood, a pair of Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups supply that unmistakable Telecaster clarity—chiming and articulate, with enough grit to cut through a band mix. The 3-way blade switch lets you jump between bridge, both pickups, or neck, while a simple master volume and tone control keep things intuitive on stage. Bent-steel saddles on the string-through-body bridge lock in sustain and intonation, so notes ring out with real staying power.
Rounding out the build: a synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines, 3-ply parchment pickguard, and the four-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate that marks it as an authentic Fender.
