Description
The Player Telecaster keeps the Tele formula honest: an alder body under gloss polyester finish, a maple neck with satin back and gloss front, and that unmistakable snap and bite in the pickups. Fender’s Player Series Alnico 5 single-coils deliver the crisp, articulate character Telecasters are known for, with a bit more clarity and edge for modern styles.
The Modern C-shaped neck feels comfortable in hand across playing styles, and its 9.5-inch radius fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets makes bends and lead lines feel natural. A synthetic bone nut and dual-wing string tree keep tuning stable, while sealed tuning machines mean less fiddling and more playing.
At the bridge, six bent-steel saddles sit on a string-through-body design, giving you accurate intonation and the sustain and cut that Teles are famous for. Simple, reliable controls – master volume, master tone, and a 3-way blade switch with barrel tip – let you dial in bridge, neck, or both pickups without overthinking it.
