Description
The J5 Triple Tele Deluxe takes the classic ’70s Tele Deluxe silhouette and arms it for modern heavy playing, courtesy of shred specialist John 5. It’s an all-black, chrome-accented guitar that looks as aggressive as it sounds, with three high-output Enforcer humbucking pickups wired for maximum crunch across the neck, middle, and bridge positions via a simple 3-way toggle.
Under the hood, an alder body pairs with a maple neck cut in a comfortable ’60s “C” profile, finished in gloss urethane for a fast, familiar feel. The rosewood fingerboard carries a 12″ radius across 22 medium jumbo frets, giving you room to bend and shred without fighting the fretboard. A 25.5″ scale length and 1.6875″ nut width keep the playing feel firmly in Tele territory, while the American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge adds pitch flexibility when you want it.
Visual details push the metal aesthetic further: a large ’70s-style Stratocaster headstock painted to match the black body, bound top and back, a flash chrome pickguard, and black switch tips and tremolo arm cap for contrast. Fender Vintage “F” style tuners and chrome hardware round out the build.
