Description
Eric Johnson is famously obsessive about tone, and this signature Stratocaster is the result of that obsession translated into hardware. Every detail here was chosen or personally voiced by Johnson himself, from the pickups to the tremolo setup, making this far more than a standard Strat with a different name on the headstock.
The body is a lightweight, deep-contoured 2-piece alder construction in the classic ’57 style, sprayed in thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer for that vintage feel and aging character. It’s paired with a quartersawn maple neck carrying a bound, round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a comfortable 12″ radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. A three-ply parchment pickguard rounds out the vintage-correct look.

Johnson’s fingerprints show up in the small stuff too: height-staggered tuners that do away with string trees, a silver-painted trem block with the 57-style string recess, five trem springs and no back cover plate. It’s set up exactly the way he wants his own guitars to feel and respond.
Strung with Fender Super 250R nickel-plated steel strings (.010–.046), it ships in a blonde hardshell case with brown ends and gold interior, along with a Levy’s woven strap, Fender 15′ Koil Kords cable, and an ashtray bridge cover.
