Description
The American Performer Jazzmaster takes Fender’s offset icon and tunes it for today’s players without losing what made the shape famous. Built in Corona, California, it wears a satin polyurethane finish over an alder body in Satin Lake Placid Blue, giving it a soft, non-glare feel rather than a high-gloss shine.
- Alder body with satin poly finish for a comfortable, worn-in feel
- Yosemite single-coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver clear, airy tone with added punch
- Vintage-style Strat synchronized tremolo bridge for smooth, stable pitch bends
- Greasebucket tone circuit rolls off highs without adding bass mud
- Maple neck in a Modern “C” profile with 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets
- Fender ClassicGear tuning machines for precise, stable tuning
- Silver ’70s-style headstock logo
The 25.5″ scale neck measures 1.685″ at the synthetic bone nut, striking a comfortable balance between vintage character and modern playability. A 3-position toggle switch moves cleanly between bridge, combined, and neck pickup settings, while master volume and tone controls keep things simple at the panel. Details like the 4-ply brown shell pickguard, aged white knobs and switch tip, and 4-bolt neck plate round out the classic Jazzmaster look.
Strung at the factory with Fender USA 250L NPS strings (.009-.042), it’s ready to plug in and play right out of the included deluxe gig bag.
