Description
The American Elite Telecaster keeps the shape everyone recognizes but rethinks nearly everything underneath it. This one wears Autumn Blaze Metallic over an alder body with a gloss polyurethane finish, so it photographs as well as it plays.
Fender’s 4th generation Noiseless pickups sit in the bridge and neck, delivering that snappy, chiming Tele character with the hum stripped away — clean tones stay glassy and overdriven tones push into rock territory without extra noise getting in the way. A 3-position blade switch handles the usual bridge, both, and neck combinations, while the master volume includes an S-1 switch and the master tone is a no-load control for extra tonal range.
The maple neck uses a compound profile — modern “C” near the nut shifting to a “D” shape toward the asymmetrical heel — paired with a 9.5″-14″ compound radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets. That combination keeps open chords comfortable while letting bends and lead lines glide up top. Deluxe locking tuning machines with all short posts improve break angle over the bone nut for cleaner tuning stability, and the truss rod wheel at the neck’s butt end makes relief adjustments quick without pulling the neck.
Details reinforce the premium feel: a refined rear body contour, black chrome Fender headstock decal, large pearloid dot inlays, a 6-saddle American Tele bridge with chromed brass saddles, and chrome hardware throughout.
