The result is the American Professional Telecaster, an ash-body instrument finished in a striking Crimson Red Transparent that lets the wood grain show through, paired with a rosewood fingerboard for a warmer, softer feel under the fingers.

At the heart of the tone are two V-Mod single-coil pickups designed by longtime pickup guru Tim Shaw. Rather than using identical coils front and back, each pickup is voiced for its specific position with a tailored mix of alnico magnets, delivering that unmistakable Fender snap with extra depth and nuance. A treble-bleed circuit on the volume control keeps things from turning muddy as you roll the volume down — your top end stays intact no matter how you’re set.
