Description
The Stratocaster has been the reference point for electric guitar tone since 1954, and this American Professional HSS model brings that legacy forward without losing what made it iconic in the first place. It’s built at Fender’s U.S. factory with a black-finished alder body, maple neck, and the kind of detail work that separates a working instrument from a display piece.
- Pickup engineer Tim Shaw designed both the V-Mod single-coils (neck and middle) and the ShawBucker 1 humbucker in the bridge, each voiced independently for its position rather than treated as generic parts. The result is a wider tonal range than a standard SSS Strat — think vintage-flavored chime up top with real humbucker weight when you need it.
