Description
Lefties don’t often get first pick of the good stuff, so when an American Professional Stratocaster shows up in a left-handed configuration, it’s worth a look. This one’s a demo unit – gently used, fully functional, and ready to play at a lower price point than new.
Under the hood you get Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coil set, three pickups each voiced differently for their position using a mix of alnico magnet types. The result is that classic Strat sparkle with more depth and output than older single-coil designs, and a treble-bleed circuit keeps your top end intact even as you roll back the volume knob.
The neck carries Fender’s modern Deep C profile – fuller in the shoulders than a standard Modern C, closer to a C/U hybrid – paired with narrow-tall frets that make bending strings and fretting chords higher up the neck feel natural and stay in tune. A bone nut helps with sustain and tuning stability at the top end.
Other details worth noting:
- Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 22 narrow-tall frets
- 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm that locks in place and won’t loosen mid-set
- Alder body in gloss black polyurethane finish
- Fender USA 250L strings (.009-.042)
- Includes Elite Molded hard-shell case with TSA latches and stackable design
Whether you’re navigating blues bends or EDM textures, this Strat gives left-handed players the same authentic feel and tone that’s defined the model since 1954 – now at a demo price.
