Description
George Fullerton’s double-cutaway design gets its finest expression here: a slim-waisted, offset body with generous curves that sits easily against the body, topped with his signature arched pickguard shape. Built in Alder and finished in Andromeda, the guitar pairs a 3-ply pearl pickguard with a Caribbean Rosewood fingerboard for a look as considered as the woodwork beneath it.
Chrome hardware dresses up the control layout, with machined knobs handling volume, treble, and bass duties. Leo Fender’s Dual-Fulcrum vibrato anchors the bridge—an engineering piece that lets you dive or pull up on pitch bends with real stability, all through a substantial aluminum arm that feels smooth under the palm.
The MFD pickups deliver plenty of bite, but back off the volume and bass and they open up into something glassier and more detailed than you’d expect. That’s the PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system at work, shaping tone independently across all three pickups rather than relying on one blunt tone knob. A mini-toggle Expander Switch adds further flexibility, unlocking neck+bridge or full three-pickup combinations beyond the standard five-way switching—the neck+bridge blend even flirts with ASAT Special territory.
