Description
Built alongside guitarist Nick Johnston, the Traditional is designed to disappear beneath your fingers so nothing gets between the idea in your head and the note that comes out of the amp. Johnston himself calls it the product of half a lifetime chasing that connection, and every detail on this guitar reflects that pursuit of playability and tone.
- Alder body paired with a contoured 4-bolt Eastern Hard Rock Maple neck in Schecter’s Custom ‘C’ shape, finished in vintage satin with a gloss headstock
- Rosewood fretboard with .25″ vintage dot inlays and 22 Jescar premium German silver frets (6100 equivalent)
- 14″ fretboard radius and 25.5″ scale length for a familiar, versatile feel across styles
- Nut width of 1.67″, tapering from .825″ at the first fret to .865″ at the twelfth, fitted with a Graphtech Black TUSQ nut
- Schecter Vintage 2-Point tremolo bridge and chrome Schecter/Hipshot staggered locking tuners for smooth, stable tuning
- S/S/S pickup array loaded with Seymour Duncan Texas Hot Antiquities for warm lows, articulate mids, and singing highs
- Master volume, master tone, and a 5-way slider switch for quick access to every pickup combination
Finished in Atomic Silver, this instrument is built to respond to touch and phrasing rather than fight against them, making it a strong fit for players who lean on dynamics and expression as much as technique.
