Description
Left-handed guitarists know the frustration of scanning racks full of right-handed instruments, so Schecter mirrored their popular C-6 Deluxe specifically for southpaws. This one comes finished in Satin Black – a low-sheen, fingerprint-resistant coating that lets the basswood body’s grain and bevel-edged contours show through rather than hide under glossy lacquer.
Under the hood, it’s built the way Schecter builds all their workhorse models: a bolt-on maple neck carved into a Thin ‘C’ profile, mated to a rosewood fretboard with a 14" radius and 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets. That combination favors fast lead lines and comfortable chording alike, while the 25.5" scale keeps string tension familiar to anyone coming from a Strat or Tele-style instrument. A graphite nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod round out the setup-friendly hardware.
Tone comes from a matched pair of Schecter Diamond Plus pickups in the neck and bridge, wired to a simple volume/tone/3-way switch layout – straightforward controls that get out of the way and let the pickups do the talking, from clean jangle to pushed gain. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body stringing adds sustain and stability, and everything is finished in chrome hardware, including Schecter’s own tuners and metal knurled knobs.
