Description
The Schecter Demon S-II is built for players who want speed, sustain, and serious low-end punch without a hefty price tag. Its sculpted basswood body keeps things lightweight and resonant, while the bolt-on maple neck carries Schecter’s slim, fast-playing thin C profile — a shape that lets your hand move quickly across the fretboard during heavy riffing or lead runs.
The rosewood fretboard is loaded with 24 extra-jumbo frets, giving you full access to the upper register with plenty of room to bend and vibrato without fretting out. Gothic cross inlays add a distinct visual signature that fits the guitar’s dark, satin black finish.
Tone comes from a pair of Duncan Designed humbuckers, wired through a straightforward master volume, master tone, and 3-way switch layout. It’s a simple control set that still covers a wide range — from thick, saturated rhythm tones to cutting, articulate leads.
Hardware is finished entirely in black for a stealthy, cohesive look, including Schecter’s own tuning machines and a tune-o-matic bridge paired with a string-thru-body tailpiece. That combination helps lock in tuning stability and adds sustain, which matters when you’re driving high-gain amps or holding out long notes.
