Description
The Stiletto-5 Session takes Schecter’s bolt-on bass platform and dresses it in a satin-finished swamp ash body with a flat top, giving you an airy, resonant foundation before the electronics even kick in. The maple neck carries a ‘C’ profile with a 35″ scale and 24 narrow X-Jumbo frets across a 12″ radius maple fretboard, marked simply with ebony side blocks for a clean look on stage.
Under the hood, an EMG 40DC bridge pickup and EMG 40J neck pickup feed into a master volume/blend layout with active 3-band EQ, powered by an 18-volt battery setup accessed through a screw-plate compartment. That gives you serious tonal range – from punchy, aggressive lows to articulate highs – with the headroom active EMGs are known for.
Playing comfort is dialed in with a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, a 1.771″ nut width, and a 2-way adjustable truss rod for easy setup tweaks. Schecter’s custom bass bridge supports both string-through-body and top-load stringing, mounted alongside Schecter tuners and black hardware throughout, including metal knurled knobs with set screws for a secure grip.
