Description

Left-handed players chasing extended range often get stuck with limited options — the Damien-7 Multiscale changes that. Built specifically for southpaws, this 7-string delivers the tension-balancing benefits of a fanned-fret design without forcing you to adapt to a righty instrument.

The multiscale neck runs 25.5″ to 27″ and is carved from maple into a thin “C” profile, with carbon fiber rods embedded inside for added rigidity and long-term neck stability. On top sits a rosewood fingerboard with a 16″ radius, 24 jumbo frets, and eerie Pearloid bat inlays that fit the Damien line’s dark aesthetic. The bolt-on neck meets a mahogany body through a contoured heel joint, so reaching the upper register doesn’t mean fighting the guitar.

Hardware is all business and all black:

  • Schecter tuners for reliable tuning retention
  • Graph Tech Black Tusq Abasi 7-string nut
  • Hipshot multiscale fixed bridge, built to anchor each string’s unique scale length and hold tuning under heavy playing

Everything about this build points toward low-tuned, high-output styles — the extra scale length on the bass strings tightens up response for cleaner low notes, while the shorter treble side keeps lead playing comfortable. Finished in stealthy satin black, the Damien-7 Multiscale looks as serious as it sounds, and gives left-handed guitarists a real option in the 7-string, fanned-fret space.
