Description

The Schecter Omen Elite-7 Multiscale pairs extended-range tone with a neck that actually feels good to play fast on. That’s the point of the fanned-fret design: strings run from 25.5″ scale on the high side to 27″ on the low side, tightening up your low B for chunky riffs while keeping the high strings comfortable for bends and leads.

The maple neck uses a thin “C” profile with carbon fiber rods built in for extra rigidity under string tension, topped with a 16″ radius rosewood board and 24 jumbo frets. A contoured neck joint clears the way to those upper frets without a fight. Underneath it all sits a mahogany body finished with a figured poplar burl top in See-Thru Blue Burst, giving the guitar depth and grain character along with the low-end warmth mahogany is known for.

Tone comes from a matched pair of Schecter Heretic-7 humbuckers, wired to master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector for a wide spread of sounds from thick rhythm tones to cutting lead voices. Hardware is all blacked out and built for stability: Schecter tuners, a Graph Tech Black Tusq Abasi 7-String nut, and a Hipshot multiscale fixed bridge keep tuning solid string to string.
