The maple neck carries a Thin ‘C’ profile that stays comfortable across all 24 X-Jumbo frets, mated to a rosewood fretboard with pearloid line inlays and a 14″ radius for fast, low-effort bending. At 25.5″ scale, string tension stays firm enough for heavier gauges and alternate tunings.
Anchoring the whole setup is a Floyd Rose Special ‘Hot Rod’ locking tremolo, a Schecter-exclusive design paired with a matching Floyd Rose Special locking nut – a combo built specifically for wild pitch dives and stable return-to-zero performance. A 2-way adjustable truss rod keeps neck relief in check over time.
Tone comes from a matched set of Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups in the bridge and neck, wired to a straightforward Volume/Tone/5-Way switch layout that covers everything from tight rhythm chugs to cutting lead lines. Black hardware ties the whole aesthetic together.
