The Omen Extreme 6 pairs a mahogany body topped with quilted maple to a bolt-on maple neck, giving you warm low-end punch with a bright, articulate edge on top. A 25.5″ scale rosewood fingerboard hosts 24 jumbo frets, vector inlays, and creme multi-ply binding for a clean, upscale look that belies the price point.
At the heart of the tone are Schecter Diamond Plus pickups – overwound coils wrapped around a ceramic magnet for aggressive, high-output performance. They’re voiced to push tube amps into breakup territory and stay tight under drop tunings, cutting through a dense mix without turning to mud. Pull up on the push-pull tone knob and the humbuckers split to a brighter, single-coil-flavored voice for cleaner textures and added tonal range.
A Tune-O-Matic bridge with through-body stringing anchors everything down, adding sustain and string tension while keeping intonation rock solid. Schecter’s own sealed, lubricated tuners use a 15:1 gear ratio for accurate, drift-free tuning, and black chrome hardware finishes off the vintage sunburst look.
