Description
The Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 takes the Hellraiser’s signature aggression and extends it to seven strings, giving riff-writers and downtuned players extra low-end range without sacrificing feel. The mahogany body with an arched quilted maple top is finished in Trans Black Burst, letting the wood grain show through a dark, smoky burst that looks as serious as it sounds.
A set-neck with Ultra Access joinery keeps the upper frets fully reachable, while the 3-piece maple neck is carved into an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile for quick navigation across the 26.5″ scale. An ebony fretboard hosts 24 X-Jumbo frets under a 12″-16″ compound radius, with offset/reverse MOP dot inlays and a Gothic Cross marker at the 12th fret tying in the Hellraiser aesthetic. Carbon fiber multi-ply binding wraps the body edge for a clean, finished look.
Powering the tone is a set of active EMG 57-7H (bridge) and 66-7H (neck) humbuckers in brushed black chrome covers, run through volume/volume/tone controls and a 3-way switch for a wide spread of sounds from tight, articulate cleans to saturated high-gain crunch. A Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-thru-body construction adds sustain and tuning stability, backed by Schecter locking tuners and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut.
