The C-1 Hellraiser is Schecter’s answer for players who need dark aesthetics matched with equally dark tone. Finished in Black Cherry with abalone Gothic cross inlays and matching binding, this guitar looks as menacing as it sounds.

Under the hood sits an EMG Active 81TX/89R pickup set. The bridge 81TX runs in dual mode, so you get the classic 81’s biting crunch alongside a fatter single-coil voice with extra clarity when you need it. The neck-position 89 uses alnico V magnets with its own preamp, delivering a rich, warm dual-coil tone reminiscent of an EMG 85, with the R version tapping the rear coil for added versatility. Control layout is Vol (tap)/Vol (tap)/Tone/3-way switch, giving quick access to coil-tap tones on the fly.
Tuning stability comes from Schecter’s own locking tuners – a 19:1 gear ratio for fine adjustments, a locking screw pin, and a 10mm peg hole. On the other end, a TonePros TOM bridge with through-body stringing locks everything down tight, cutting out slop in the threads so your intonation setting holds and your sustain and harmonics come through cleanly. Black chrome hardware ties the whole look together.
