Description
Schecter’s Banshee Mach series pushes the Banshee shape into serious extended-range territory, and this 7-string FR-S version delivers it in a left-handed build finished in Fallout Burst. The body is carved from lightweight swamp ash and topped with flamed maple, giving you a resonant, comfortable platform that still looks the part on stage.
Instead of a bolt-on, Schecter went neck-through with a 5-ply roasted maple/purple heart neck, so sustain and stability carry through every note. The ultra-thin “U” profile combines with a compound radius fretboard for a neck that feels fast up top and locked-in down low. Two carbon fiber reinforcement rods keep everything rigid, while the ebony fretboard is finished with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets for smooth bending and long-lasting playability. Glow-in-the-dark side dots make navigating the neck effortless even in a dark venue.
Up top, a Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge gives you dive-bomb-ready tuning stability, and the Sustainiac neck pickup lets you sustain notes and chords indefinitely at the flip of a switch — a serious tool for atmospheric leads or ambient textures.
