Description
The Blackjack SLS C-1 was built for players who live at the aggressive end of the tone spectrum but still want a neck that feels effortless under the hand. Schecter took its Ultra-Thin ‘C’ profile neck, gave it a satin finish and a 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard, and mounted it to a mahogany body with an arched top and black multi-ply binding for a look that’s understated but sharp.
Electronics come from Seymour Duncan: a Full Shred SH-10 in the bridge for cutting, high-gain aggression, paired with a Jazz SH-2N in the neck for smoother, more articulate lead and clean tones. A push-pull tone control adds coil-splitting flexibility to the standard volume/volume/3-way switch layout, so you’re not locked into one voice per pickup.
Up top, a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and Schecter locking tuners keep tuning stable, while the ebony fretboard with offset MOP dot inlays gives a smooth, fast surface across all 24 X-Jumbo frets. The TonePros T3BT TOM bridge with string-thru-body construction adds sustain and resonance, all finished off in black chrome hardware.
