Built around a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck, it carries over the original 635JM carve profile that made the core Silver Sky such a hit with players who want a neck that disappears in the hand. The rosewood fingerboard, dressed with PRS’s signature bird inlays, spans 22 frets over a 25.5″ scale with an 8.5″ radius, giving you a fast, familiar surface whether you’re chording or bending.
Tone comes from three 635JM “S” single-coil pickups, wired to a master volume, two tone knobs, and a five-way switch for the full spread of classic single-coil voices – bright and glassy on the bridge, warm and rounded toward the neck. The inverted headstock is an instant visual cue of the Silver Sky lineage, while a two-point steel tremolo, synthetic bone nut, and vintage-style tuners round out a setup built for expressive playing and reliable tuning stability. A double-acting truss rod keeps the neck dialed in over time.
