The Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck takes the classic single-cutaway Jet body and splits it into two fully independent instruments, letting you jump from standard six-string riffs to deep baritone tones without swapping guitars mid-song. Finished in eye-catching Silver Sparkle with a bound top, it’s as much a stage centerpiece as it is a practical tool for players who write in multiple tunings or registers.
Each neck gets its own voice and controls. The guitar side runs a 24.75″ scale with dual chrome-covered humbuckers, while the baritone side stretches to a 29.75″ scale and pairs dual mini-humbuckers for a tighter, punchier low end. Both necks are maple with rosewood fingerboards, and each has its own three-position pickup switch, so you can dial in tones independently before flipping the two-position neck selector to choose which instrument is live.
Bridge-wise, each side runs its own Adjusto-Matic bridge for precise intonation, and vibrato duties are handled by dedicated Bigsby-licensed tailpieces — a B50 on the guitar neck and a B60 on the baritone — giving you shimmering pitch bends on either side of the instrument.
