The G6119 Tennessee Rose is Gretsch’s Professional Collection take on the Chet Atkins signature hollow body, wrapped in a deep cherry stain finish that shows off the arched laminated maple top and 16″ lower bout. Multiple body bindings and bound, oversized F-holes give it that unmistakable Gretsch silhouette, while the silver plexi pickguard carries the embossed Chet Atkins signature underneath the Gretsch logo.
Under the hood sit two High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups, wired through independent neck and bridge volume controls plus a master volume and master tone, all switched via a 3-position toggle. That configuration gives you the twangy chime Filter’Trons are known for, with enough control on tap to shape it on the fly. The Gretsch by Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece, paired with an ebony-based Adjusto-Matic bridge, adds smooth, controlled pitch shimmer without losing tuning stability.
The maple neck is capped with an ebony fingerboard, bound and marked with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, running a 12″ radius and 25.5″ scale across 22 frets. A 1.6875″ nut width keeps chord work comfortable, and Grover Rotomatic die-cast tuners with a synthetic bone nut round out hardware that’s built to hold pitch night after night.
