Description
Built for players who’d rather be outside than worrying about their instrument, the Outdoor Ukulele™ Tenor swaps traditional tonewoods for a carbon fiber composite polycarbonate body. The result is a uke that’s 50% stronger and 15% brighter sounding than the brand’s glass-composite version, with the kind of durability that makes it a natural fit for expedition use. Embedded carbon fiber strands give the body a genuine grain-like texture while dramatically boosting strength, so it shrugs off impacts, resists scratches, and handles temperature swings from -40° F to 250° F without flinching. It’s also waterproof, meaning campfires, humidity, and unexpected rain are no longer a concern.
Despite the rugged shell, the acoustics are anything but an afterthought—this tenor delivers bright, lively tone that holds up outdoors. It comes strung with D’Addario Pro-Arté Fluorocarbon Strings and fitted with nickel-plated precision geared tuning machines for stable, accurate tuning. Horn-shaped string slots use single-point termination, giving strings a smooth, unstrained path to the tuners. A chord sheet and reusable box are included to round out the package.
