Description
The G9410 Broadkaster Special brings Gretsch’s early 20th-century banjo styling into the modern era, now updated with a Remo Renaissance head, dual coordinator rods, and a bone nut for improved tone and stability. It’s a working banjo through and through, built to deliver classic drive and projection without the boutique price tag.
- Mahogany neck, resonator, and rim for warm, resonant tone
- Rosewood fingerboard with new high-contrast snowflake inlays
- Rolled brass tone ring paired with a notched steel tension hoop
- 24 brackets and geared machine heads for solid tuning stability
- Traditional tailpiece, chrome hardware, and armrest
- 26 3/8″ scale length, 1 3/16″ nut width
- Gloss finish on both neck and body
The vintage “U” neck shape and 1950’s-style Gretsch 2×2 headstock give this banjo an unmistakable old-school look, while the dual-action truss rod keeps setup and adjustment straightforward. It comes strung with D’Addario J61 nickel strings (.010-.023 gauge) and includes a truss-rod wrench and head wrench for maintenance. An optional gig bag is available separately if you need a way to transport it.
Whether you’re picking bluegrass runs or working through old-time tunes, the Broadkaster Special offers authentic banjo character with the kind of build quality that holds up night after night.
