Description
The G5022CE brings back the Rancher’s storied 1950s heritage in a jumbo cutaway built for modern gigging. That triangular sound hole isn’t just a throwback design flourish — it’s part of what gives this guitar its wide, room-filling voice, paired here with a solid spruce top over scalloped X bracing for a top that opens up with use. Laminated flame maple back and sides add brightness and projection to the low-end punch you’d expect from a jumbo body, while the Venetian cutaway keeps the upper fretboard within easy reach for lead lines and chord work higher up the neck.
Playability comes from a mahogany neck paired with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, dressed with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and a 1.6875″ nut width across a 25″ scale — comfortable territory for players moving between electric and acoustic. The 1940s-style pickguard carries the Gretsch script, and gold-plated hardware with deluxe die-cast tuners rounds out the vintage-forward look, all finished in a gloss Savannah Sunset that suits the guitar’s warm, classic character.
Plugged in, the Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup and Isys+ preamp give you real control on stage: dedicated volume, treble, bass, and phase knobs, plus a built-in tuner and battery life indicator so you’re never caught off guard mid-set.
