Godin’s Multiac Nylon SA bridges the gap between classical warmth and electric-guitar playability. Instead of a traditional wide classical neck, it uses a 1-7/8″ nut width and a subtle 16″ fingerboard radius on a 25-1/2″ scale — dimensions that feel immediately natural to steel-string and electric players making the jump to nylon strings.
Underneath the solid spruce top, a chambered mahogany body opens up the tone, giving it a rich, resonant voice rather than the tighter sound typical of solid-body electrics. The mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard add clarity and smoothness to both chord work and single-note runs, so the transition from steel to nylon strings doesn’t cost you any speed or articulation.
What sets this Multiac apart is its onboard electronics: a 13-pin connector gives you direct access to Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synthesizers, letting you layer synth textures over that acoustic nylon voice — a rare combination for players who want classical tone with modern synth capability.
